This project involved an exciting mix of history and modernity, as we took on the challenge of replacing windows in a remarkable 1700s house. The main goal was to upgrade the home's efficiency while keeping its vintage charm intact. Our team at Homewright Handyman was thrilled to work on such a unique project, using skills honed over years to deliver top-quality results.

We began by carefully removing the old, worn-out windows to prepare the site for new and sleek Simonton windows. Given the age of the house, each window was a custom task. The structural integrity of the designated areas was meticulously inspected and fortified, ensuring the new installations fit perfectly without compromising the building's historic facade.

With the new windows installed, the transformation was incredible. The Simonton windows not only enhanced the building's exterior appeal but also improved its insulation, bringing 21st-century comforts into a historic setting. The project stirred our creativity and technical knowledge, reaffirming our love for preserving tradition while embracing modern features.

We treat each project at Homewright Handyman with the highest care and attention to detail, but working on a house that carries so much history made us particularly proud. These windows are more than just frames and glass—they represent a beautiful blend of past and present standards of homebuilding.
